The Air Element

The Element of Air holds the power of the mind, your intellect, the thought patterns and the collective unconscious of mankind where the archetypes live.

The air inside of you is your curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Your wanderlust and desire to communicate and connect.

The ancient philosophy air is placed between fire and water, its geometrical symbol is the octagon, which means that alchemically, Air energy can work with Fire and Water, or act as a bridge between the two.

The air element is not knowledge in itself, it is not what you know. Air is learning, thinking in abstract patterns, your ability to use mathematics, not the rules themselves.

Air is your ability to use the knowledge you have acquired and form new thoughts, link ideas together and make new pathways. It is still a big mystery to us, and the missing link in machine learning and AI. We still don’t know what consciousness is, nor how to hold it.

Air is motion, free will and it is untameable, yet we take it for granted -just like breathing.

Are you concentrating to much on the details whilst missing the bigger picture? Look at the root cause of a problem rather than the symptoms. Give yourself permission to spend time just to find inspiration. Go up somewhere high and gaze at the horizon. Look for unique solutions.
