Simple water spells

Some examples of simple water spells to bless your day.

I grew up on the seashore with its widespread never ending horizon and the beach as my playground. Maybe that’s why I have always felt so very connected to the element of Water. I feel like I know the sea, inside and out. I know it’s highs and lows, have experienced it in every season and every thinkable weather, from blazing summer sunsets to crushing thunderstorms and glimmering, quiet, winter ice.

I do not however, consider myself a water or sea witch, like I have seen some witches do. I hold a much more holistic worldview and believe that the balancing of the elements is the key to truly transformative magick. Alchemy, basically.

The sea, although majestic, is not the element. The ocean is the representation of the intelligence that is the element of water. The water element is an energy. It’s own entity. An intelligence. As you work with the element of water, you work with that specific energy. I like to think that my childhood on the seashore helped me connect with that intelligence. A soul connection.
